When I move something to the Kanban board with a status of Done it does not show up with a line through it even though I have created a post function to say Done. Any ideas why that is happening?

What do you mean about created a post function to say Done? A line through means the issue is resolved with a value of resolution field.
If your status is Done but resolution field is empty, then issue is not strikethrough.
