I would check this documentation https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/manage-product-sandboxes/
Atlassian recommends not to use sandboxes for data, as their SLA do not cover them. And in addition you could export all data from your sandbox and import them on you production environment. However this could be troublesome.
