How to view multiple epics and their contents in a single view - JQL

Hi all,

 

Given Jira doesnt have a GroupBy in JQL,  I was wondering if anyone has solved the “how do I view multiple epics and their contents in a single view” problem?

 

We are looking for a solution that doesnt involve add-ons for now. Is this possible or are there any alternatives?

The Roadmap (/ Advanced Roadmaps) is the first feature that comes to mind. That gives you a nice breakdown of Epics and Stories.
