smart field population - select field A - populate Field B & Field C

We maintain a DB Table of IDs with 3 main columns
Each ID has one ID-NAME and one ID-location 

ID,   ID-Name,    ID-Location
01    ID-01           ASIA
01    ID-02           SA
01    ID-03           AUSTRAILIA

 

How can the selection of ID fill/ populate ID-Name & ID-Location in in issues.

The table  contains a large amount of data

we are using Jira software 

Any suggestions how to implement this ?
if we use a cascading field - there are only 2 values, and the second value would have to be clicked

You can use an add-on to to this, like External Data for Jira Fields to get the values of fields basead on your own instance.

This is not the best way, but works.

If you have Jira Service Managament Premium, you can create this structure with the Insight, and will works very well.
