I need to have a custom field to be displayed only after a particular transtion ? How ?

Question

I have a specific custom field whic needs to be displayed only after a particular transition happen.

And that custom field to be displayed on the main page ?

Pls support on the answers?

Hi Selvakumar,

Do you want to show the custom field on all steps after the transition and in the edit screen? If yes, you can try the following

1. On transition update a temp field value to 1 (this field can stay hidden and need not show up in the main screen)

2. Write a behaviour to show the custom field when the temp field value is 1

Hi Selvakumar,

I'm guessing that you mentioned here a view screen as a main page.

If it is so,

Step1: please try to add the custom field only on the view screen (not on create and edit screen) . So that it will display only on view screen

Step2: Add one transition screen on the workflow (where you would like to add on the particular transition) and add the custom field into that transition screen

So that, the custom field will appears only on the particular transition(in a new screen called transition screen) and once the custom field is filled with the values , then it will display on the main page
