swimlanes for Epic does not work

i have a board set by the following filter:

project = RND AND "Scrum Team[Dropdown]" = "Parkan (nemo)" AND type = Epic AND (fixVersion is EMPTY OR fixVersion in unreleasedVersions()) ORDER BY Rank

 

resulted with 28 epics.,

setting swinlanes = epics resulted with zero epics

setting swimlanes = queries using epic name in JQL resulted the same

 

what am i doing wrong?

P.S. all epics have issues, it is not an empty placeholder.

Do you really mean to create a board with only Epics? I suspect what you want to do is to remove the epic portion of your filter and then simply use Epic for your swimlanes. Maybe?
