Bulk Edit: Links & Attachments

Question

Hi team, I wanted to check if you guys agree with me here that it should be possible to bulk edit items to attach a document/a link to a document rather than doing it all individually.

The bottom of this page suggests it might be illogical to want this capability. Do you guys agree?

Thank you for the workaround Joseph

@Tosin Ojikutu -

As far as I know right now, you cannot conduct bulk edit with attachments.  However you can use this third party add-on to script the bulk changes for attachments - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6398/jira-command-line-interface-cli?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

As for issue links, you can use CSV file to conduct bulk update via external issue import process.  Here is the KB link for your reference - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-import-issue-links-from-a-csv-file-in-jira-740262715.html

Hope this helps.
