Filter query to exclude weekends in a specific project

Question

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to exclude a specific project at weekends (Friday’s and Saturday’s) in my dashboard (I want that only the specific project’s tickets will not shown in my dashboard on that days).

How can I do that?

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello @Daniel zilka

It doesn't appear that there is a native solution for this. There is a change request to which you can add your vote here:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-27539

There might be an app in the Atlassian Marketplace that would provide the functionality you're seeking, but I did not find one in my quick search.

Hey @Trudy P Claspill !

Thank you for your response.

I need that if the day today is Saturday/ Friday, to not see any of the these project’s tickets.

I’m filtering only the unresolved tickets to my dashboard, and we can’t touch any ticket of this project on that days. On the rest of the days, if today is Sunday’s for example, we can do so.

Hello @Daniel zilka

Welcome to the community.

Which field in your issues contains the date that is part of the weekend?

Do you need the search results to include issues where the dates in that field cover multiple weeks?

Can you provide a specific example of with sample data and indicate which issues should and should not be included in the results?
