Embedded photos not showing

Question

Recently our Jira helpdesk is no longer showing Embedded photos when users add photos to emails and email them to our helpdesk team.

Instead we get

[Logo Description automatically generated]

or

[cid:image002.gif@01D896BB.6F46C7B0]

For example.

It shows images when users attach a file but when copying a paste a screenshot into a email it will only show [cid:image.png@fdsafs]

I didn't want to reply to your case as this isn't an "answer", but... we saw the same behaviour in a handful of cases, but it seems to have resolved itself now.  Sorry that doesn't help if you're still seeing the problem.

Nobody else has had this issue before or knows why its happening?
