How do I create a report that shows all projects ever created?

Question

How can I create a report for all projects created in Jira Software?  I have tried gadgets in a dashboard with no luck.  What we need to report on are:

1) How many projects were opened from year to year or specified timeframe?

2) How many projects were closed vs completed?

3) How can I report on any other metrics like resource load, total issues, overall project completion %?

Hey @Matt Doar ,

Thanks for the question.  We have Jira Cloud.  I am using Jira Software for a number of projects being the PM for our team. Most of these projects have a start and end date that I am talking about. I am trying to pull a report on the metrics above. I'm not sure what you mean by "which often don't end"?  If they don't end, wouldn't that not be a project?  It's more of an operational task as that point?  Thanks!

Do you mean Jira projects (which often don't end) or some other kind of project?
