Hi there,So i was thinking of using Insight for stock control and will require to add multiple objects at once with different serial numbers. Is this possible with issues or the forms functionality

Hi @Christopher Taylor. Yes, automation for Jira has an action to create insight objects. You will need to select the Schema and object type to be created, and for other attributes, you can use smart values.
If you are using forms, you will probably need to link the form Fields with Jira Custom Fields.

I don't think you can use the values from a Form field in an automation rule.
What you could do is to let the users input the serial numbers as a comma separated text field. "12345566, 376633636, 383833737"
Then you could split that field value and use it in an Advanced branching action and create objects from each split item.
Advanced branching - Smart value: {{issue.fields.SerialNumbersField.split(",")}}
Create objects - Name: {{sn}}

Yes as a Jira text field was my thought, but there are probably other methods as well.
