Propose a date in screens for a custom field date

Hi,

How do you do ?

We have a due date that must be completed when a ticket pass from a status A to a status B. This due date needs to answer some condition :

- Open days (monday to Friday)

-if it's before midday, the date is tomorrow

If it's after mid day , it's the day after tomorrow.

I wanted to know if there is a way to automatically prefilled this date in a screen wit these conditions  during the change of status ?

Post functions fire after something has taken place. Calling a transition screen has not completed any function, therefore, there is nothing that has taken place to cause the post function to fire before showing the transition screen.

Hi Julien,

Not sure that I completely follow your scenario, but you can't populate the values in the screen on the fly when opening a transition screen if that is what you are seeking to do.

However, you can create an automation rule that will auto-populate the due date based on the criteria you mention.
