Why are my tickets missing the number when adding from plan view?

Hi everyone! 

I am in the plan view, I have the epic created and I am creating a feature and the sub-tasks below each from there. I did this by clicking the ellipsis by the epic for the feature and then by the feature for the sub-tasks.  

I was so excited because it helps just get all the high-level steps down. BUT I just realized when I did that, the number that is created for each is not there?? I can't click in further to review or anything. 

Did I do something wrong? Is there a better way/place to do this?

@Heather Byou need to review changes and commit them to the project first. Then refresh the project plan via the browser refresh and all of the tickets will have issue keys assigned. Then you can click on the issue if you need to review change/something.
