Search for all issues where all components are in testing environment

Question

Im looking for a query which would allow me to bring back all issues where the components are all on the same environment such as 'testing'

Ive found the below which brings back these issues but it returns issues that are not yet ready. Id like to know the issues where all the components exist in testing and not just a subset of them. Is this possible?

project = "abc" and deploymentEnvironmentType ~ “testing“

Hi @Kelly ,

From the way you share your filter, it seems as if your deploymentEnvironmentType field is a plain text field. You cannot search for exact values on text fields with JQL, which makes the filter return everything with testing somehow in it.

If you have a limited set of possible environments, it would be better to set them up as select list custom fields with fixed values. As of then, you should be able to search for the exact values in that list, like this:

Project = ABC and "Deployment Environment" = Testing

In case you have many actual instances, it may be an idea to add an additional type field indeed that separates out just the type groups, like development, testing, production and use that for filtering.
