When I invite users to Confluence, they're auto added into Jira as well.

Question

I don't want users I invite to be auto added a Jira license by default. I just want them to have Confluence and I can manually add Jira for the ones that need it. How do I turn off new invited users to be added on Jira as well. Thank you.

Thanks Alex.

We've done this previously, but it didn't seem to resolve the issue. Could there be something else causing this?

Hi @Danny and welcome to the community!

* Go to cog > user management
* Products > Jira Software > (ellipsis menu) Manage product access
* Turn off the "New users have access to this product"
