Jira Cloud - No notification send when assigning task to user

When assigning Jira task, e.g. in project, the assigned person doesn’t receive a notification email.

Another thing to try is to open a support ticket with Atlassian to see if the user emails have been blacklisted for some reason.

Well a user can choose to disable some notifications on their profile.

you will not be able to check that, they will need to validate this on their profile. So if it's not eveyrone this could be a cause.
