Need HipChat notification based on due date in Jira

Question

Basically as the title says, I want to get a notification in HipChat whenever a due date is hit on a JIRA issue, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any default logic in the Hipchat for JIRA plugin. Do any of you have any ideas of how this can be achieved?

Hello Jessi Moss,

There is no way to setup this on Hipchat. :/  Only with workaround to service desk:

* You need setup an automation to Comment when due date matches with today or tomorrow, and
* You need setup an integration to comments in a room 
 But all comments at the issues go to there.

You should try to use Confluence Calendars to be aware about Due date. You can setup a calendar to all due dates for projects.
