Show epic related to project

Question

We are service based company and we need to manage project based on the developers. We are new to Jira and we need a process where a task of a project should be assigned to particular the epic that is under the same project.

So for example, if I am creating issue in Project XYZ so I need to see Epic that I have created under the project of XYZ.

Please help me out, it is creating big mess-up.

I am seeing epics while I create task in particular project.

I tried to set the filter but that also not working. Your guidance is respected and will be valued a lot.

@Ankit Where do you see the epics of all projects? On a board? In a list? Somewhere else?

If you create a task and only link to an epic in the same project, then your backlog and agile board will show only those epics provided the filter is set correctly.
