Prevent users from logging time on Issues with DONE status.

Question

Hi,

can some one please propose a verified solution for Jira Software (Cloud), that prevents users from logging time on Issues that are in DONE status.

I checked the community and found some relatable solutions, but couldn't verify that the y worked for Jira Software (Cloud).

Also, there were multiple properties people mentioned to achieve this, but would like to hear from someone that implemented this and that it is working fine.

So, the properties people are mentioning for this problem is:

jira.permission.work.denied

jira.permission.worklogeditown.denied

jira.permission.worklogeditall.denied

It is important for us to be able to still see worklogs on Issues, even with DONE status.

So the property I am looking for is only for disabling users to log time on DONE Issues.

Please, if someone has a working solution implemented on their Jira, let me know how you achieved it.

Our workflow that is being used mostly is pretty simple, only three statuses.
