Why Labels / Components are not visible in tasks when in Board view?

Question

Hi,

I am new to JIRA administration, and am trailing it for my team at the moment.

I would like to ask why when viewing tasks on the JIRA board, the label / component is not displayed on the board? See screenshot below:

What I am after, is for the label / component to be displayed on that task like this:

I can't find a way to make it happen, even thought it was like the second image above in all other organisations that I worked for.

Can someone help please?

You can add more fields by editing board settings and changing card layout, but it won't look like epics with colors (maybe there is some app for this):

Okay, so there is no way to display either components or labels for each tasks in board view?

Those looking like labels fields are Epics, which are great for grouping tasks required or related to doing/finishing big thing.
