Post functions not an option in workflow designer

I am trying to create a post function on a workflow transition but I do not even have the option or see the word "post function" anywhere on screen. I have Jira admin and Site admin permissions. What am I missing?

The Post function is only available on the transition steps, not on the Statuses.
