What is the actual Jira date field that is displayed in the Roadmap view?

Would like to use this field to reduce manual intervention in an integration to another tool.

Unfortunately, "should" is the optimum word. As you can see below, it does not appear that Start or Begin map to the first date I am seeing displayed in the Roadmap view. Other thoughts?

"Start date" and "Due date" should be dates displayed in that roadmap view.
