How to remove unneeded Labels

We have a number of Labels that were referenced on tickets that have now become obsolete, we would like to have these labels removed

The Labels are currently not tagged/applied or referenced on any tickets but when they are searched for, yet the labels still exist.

It was my understanding if a Label is not "in use" it gets removed, If this is not the case, How does one go about removing/cleaning up the Labels

Hi @James Barty 

In general Label would be removed when it would be not used in any issues (it need to be removed from all issues). If you still seeing this maybe there are some issue that you are not able to view (not having permission) or there is a index/cache/browser cache that need to be flushed and reloaded.
