Can we upgrade some users to higher Confluence tier within a Confluence instance?

We use Confluence cloud standard plan. Can we upgrade some licenses to higher tier(Confluence Premium Cloud) while keeping others at Confluence Standard Cloud?

The short answer is no, you cannot be on different tiers. All users have to be on the same one.
