JQL to find issues with a status for more than 2 weeks

I'm trying to run a JQL query to find issues with a particular status that have held that status for more than two weeks. The trouble is I can't seem to find anything that holds this information. There is UpdatedDate, but that could include issues that have been updated in some other way. Is there a way of achieving what I need.

This will generally work but it does not cover the case where it changed statuses and then went back to the previous status during the 14d window.

status = "particular status" and status was "particular status" before startOfDay(-14)

Thank you @Jack Brickey I'll give that a go. This is a bit of an issue as the JQL is required for an automation rule and our workflow is such that the status an issue was could be multiple statuses. I guess I'll just have to set up multiple automation rules, one for each status.

The query @Jack Brickey suggests already gives a useful response, but in the Atlassian support knowledge base there is an answer that worked better for me. The query they suggest there is:

project = "PROJECT NAME" AND status = "particular status" AND NOT status CHANGED AFTER -14d

This query gives no 'false positives'.
