Why is my Epic Link query not working? (alternatively, how do I Bulk Move issues?)

I'm trying to bulk move a number of issues to change their assigned Version.

This used to be very simple, selecting all the issues, right clicking and selecting "Bulk Move".

Now apparently this can only be done using an Advanced issue search.

So I'm trying to list all of the issues that I want to Bulk Move using Advanced issue search. The one thing they all have in common is the Epic they're assigned to. So I'm trying to search them by Epic Link, but there are no matches in the dropdown, so I can't select the Epic.

I tried also writing a JQL query manually:
"Epic Link" = CC-819

This also doesn't return any results.

So out of three things that used to work easily out of the box, nothing works anymore with NextGen projects. I can't explain how frustrated I am after hours of trying to get this to work.

Two things to help:

Team-managed projects link epics to child issues with "Parent", and Company-managed used "Epic Link". Please try changing your query to Parent=CC-819

Next, you note changing the assigned version. If you mean the Fix Version or Affects Version fields, then please try the Bulk Edit option and not Bulk Move. The move is to relocate issues from one Jira project to another.

Roger on using "Parent" instead of Epic Link, that worked fine.

About Bulk Edit, I just can't figure out where that is. If I select multiple issues and then click the ... icon and select Move, that will only "Move" the initially highlighted issue, not all of the selected issues.

Bulk edit (change) is available from Filters > Advanced Issue Search > ... > Bulk Change

Right, that's what I thought. So it's no longer possible to Bulk Edit issues selected in the Backlog. Why they'd remove this feature is beyond me. Anyway, thank you for the help!
