Automation: Notification When Original Estimate Field Modified

Question

This is a Jira Cloud question.

I want to create an automation that will comment on an issue and send an email whenever someone modifies the Original Estimate field if the issue is in certain statuses.

I know how to include the condition in the Automation to check the status field but I am not certain on how to do the validation that the Original Estimate field has been modified from the original value.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi @Jason Smith and welcome to the community!

You would want your rule to trigger on Field Value Changed and set that to the Original Estimate field.
