How to configure roadmap correctly for Kanban board?

Hi,

I have a Kanban board to track my team's activities. When I click on Roadmap menu, I get the list of activities. I also want to see the schedule on the right side of the roadmap, but I don't see it even when I filled "Planned Start Date", "Due Date". Please let me know what needs to be done to use this feature correctly.

So to confirm my understanding, when you select the 'Roadmap' option from the panel on the left side of the project, you see the list of Epics that you have created, but you don't see the months/timeline to the right of those Epics?

I have a few questions to help further my understanding:

What type of project is this? Company or Team Managed?
Would you be able to potentially post a screenshot here so that I can see what you are seeing to help confirm my understanding?
Is this happening for all of your projects (if you have more than one) or just this one?

Thanks Prakash! This is helpful for me! You had noted that you were setting the "Planned Start Date" field. I think this is a custom field, as the Roadmap is looking for the "Start date" field. I also see that it looks like one of the Epics does have a schedule in your Roadmap. So we may be able to compare that Epic to one of the Epics that isn't showing the schedule to see the differences.

If you move your mouse to the right of the second Epic in your list so that it goes over the schedule, do you see a rectangle show up where you can set your dates (show below)?

If so, this should allow you the ability to set the Start and Due date fields for that Epic. You can drag that field larger and smaller as well (beyond the default 14 days). This should be able to help us identify if there are custom fields getting set for the dates.

Thanks for your response. Can you please list down what all fields are needed to be enabled/filled for the roadmap to work properly? Then I will work with the JIRA admin to get these added.
