Can I paste a word document with images into Confluence? If so, let me know how. Thanks!

Question

I am trying to paste a word document with images in Confluence so my team can access some training material. I pasted the document but the images were not visible. Can I paste the word document with images into a new created document in Confluence? If so, let me know how to do this. I appreciate the help!

A trick I have learned is if I first put a table in the Word document (could just be one cell), put the image in that table, then the image will import into my confluence page where I want it.
