How do I create an impediments board to visualize impediments enterprise wide

In our company the Scrum Masters are registering separately (outside of Jira) their teams, cross teams and organizational impediments. We have decided that this has to become transparent enterprise wide, especially to the managers, cluster leads, product owners and stakeholders with the help of an impediments board.

However, as this might become a physical board, due to the pandemic now our company also has the policy that you can work hybrid, meaning at home and remotely. For everyone, since most meetings have become and will remain digital, I ask this question:

How do I create an impediments board in Jira to visualize impediments enterprise wide?

When an issue is flagged there is a custom field called "Flagged" that get updated.

Use the following query to find those flagged issues.

"Flagged[Checkboxes]" = Impediment

Save this as a filter and then create a dashboard based on that filter.

But please note that you have mentioned something about registering their teams, cross teams and organizational impediments "outside of Jira". A board inside of Jira will have no means of capturing any issues outside the application.

Hi @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_, we're already flagging the stories that have an impediment on teams level. But when you have cross-teams or organisational impediments outside of the team that affects them, you cannot register this with the flagging feature. Hence, my question.

@Vanny Reyes I created a Kanban board for a project last year for the very reason you described. I had the scrum masters create a new story with the description, names, etc., select the "impediment" component I had created so we would have a history of items that were flagged, and they would also set the Flag on the story. I then created a dashboard to surface the flagged issues. It was very useful and provided a level of dependencies we had outside of the project on other orgs that did not use Jira.
