How might I create a Created vs Resolved Chart based on issue type and sprint?

I want to view bugs completed vs bugs created in a given sprint

So that, I can provide my team with better team health analytics

 

I've created a straight created vs resolved chart and added to my Dashboard. However, I'd love to be able to use a similar chart filtered by issue type (first and foremost, bugs). I'd also love to be able to natively include the Sprint Start/End dates without manually adjusting each time.

The Created vs. Resolved Chart gadget for Dashboards allows you to specify a saved filter as the data source for the gadget. Create and save a filter that selects the issues based on issue type (i.e. Bug) and Sprint (the sprint you want to report).

Unless you have a third party app that extends your JQL functionality, when specifying a Sprint as criteria you will have to be explicit about which sprint to select.

You can also leverage third party apps to extend the gadgets available for use on the Dashboards. You might find one that supports a Created vs. Resolved chart with a dynamic filter for issue type.
