Quick create button - can we use it with two required fields?

Hi all,

Hope you are all in good health and in safety places!

I am curious, can you use the quick "Create button" in backlog if you specify a field as required?

I am referring to this button from the backlog:

I know that the summary is a required and when you click this "Create button" you actually fill the summary, but I am trying to find a way to have another required field and do not loose the option of creating issues quickly.

Does anyone managed to achieve this?

Wait....guess I found something that could be a feasible way:

* Add a validator to your workflow for "Create" transition
* choose the field that needs to be required
* this will behave as follows:* type in "summary" in quick create line in backlog
* by hitting "Enter" the create screen automatically opens
* hint is shown which field is required

* field can be then filled and issue created

Might that be a solution for your requirement?
