'Move your issues' popup - Bug

Meital Arye

I have this bug lately, while visiting my board the following popup is displaying

Jira bug.jpg

I don't want to move my issues, but whenever I dismiss the popup I can no longer click on the issues on my board, they just won't open. To clarify, if i click on 'Yes, move' I can click and view my issues again from the board.

I don't remember doing anything to make this popup start appearing, is there a way to fix this bug, or even better - to remove this annoying popup for good?

It helped me to disable Backlog featue from here

I have started to get the same issue.

A temporary workaround i've found is to ignore the popup, interacting with the popup is what seems to cause the tickets to lose their interactability.

For a slightly more permanant workaround you can block the popup element with an adblocker

This keeps happening AND seeing this popup seems to STOP ANY INTERACTIONS SAVING! This is a critical issue! Please fix this!

I have the same issue. This is a critical issue as it makes task management impossible.

I hate to disable the backlog but I will if it fixes the issue.

Incredibly annoying and really disappointing that this got through testing and appeared in March and then again in May 2022.

Anyway, here is a solution that doesn't involve disabling the backlog - tested in Google Chrome.

1) Get AdBlock (as if you don't already have it installed)

2) Open Jira and see the annoying "Move your issues" popup. Leave it open.

3) Open the Adblock extension options in Chrome and click Hide something on this page.

4) Select the "Move your issues" popup to make it disappear.

5) Make the rule permanent.

Voila. Fixed.

Now come on Atlassian, fix this properly.
