prevent a ticket from being closed unless there is a comment with what the assignee has worked on

Hi,

we are trying to force people not to close tickets unless there are comments of what the assignee has worked on, is there a way to do that ? is there a logic to this to do it in Automation ?

There are two ways I would suggest this:

• use a Validator in the transition to closed to require a comment. Here is an article on this - how-to-configure-comment-field-to-be-required-in-workflow-transition 
• Similar to above use a Validator but incorporate a custom field intended to capture the details of what was done to close the issue
