Can't the see the button to create a new status on the configuration page

I have admin permissions on my projects.

After creating a Scrum pannel, when I access the project configuration page to create new status, the button does not appear on the page. I have all admin permissions on my profile

I'm only given the option to create a new column , but not a new status

Thoughts?

It appears you are on Team Managed Project? By creating a new column you would be creating a new status. It is unclear to me why you have highlighted ‘save changes’.
