Child Display broken up

Hello! I have a child display I want to display at the bottom of the page but I want it broken up into two sections. 

I'll put a 2 section layout and in the first section I want half the children pages and in the second section I want the other half of the children pages. 

For example lets say my child pages are

but that's really long at the bottom of the page. So I want to create a layout with 

1     6

2     7

3     8

4     9

5     10

 

but when I go to do this and in the second layout box I put the order backwards it looks like 

1     10

2     9

3     8

4     7

5     6

 

How do I get the second box to only be child pages 6-10? in that order?

That's a tricky question... You want to display the childs and begin with number 6. Sadly, this can't be done with the normal settings from "Children Display" macro.

A hack would be to create sub-pages like this:

• Startpage
  • Sub Page A
    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
    • 5
  • Sub Page B
    • 6
    • 7
    • 8
    • 9
    • 10

When you order your pages like this, then you can use 2 "Children Display" macros and in each, you can say which root page to use.
