Using advanced inserts in automated issues

Hello everyone, our team is trying to add inserts into requiring issues that are created through an automation. like /status, /image or /infopanel
As it's possible to add those inserts when creating an issue manually it seems strange to me that it's not possible in automated issues.

Short answer: that does not appear to be fully supported yet

Longer answer:

I experimented with that using tables and inserts last year and I discovered a few things:

The text fields (e.g. Description) support lots of those mark-up features, and they cannot consistently be added using automation rules. Or perhaps, there is something very complex allowing such formatting...and that technique is undocumented. Some things work and others do not, so you will need to experiment to learn which meet your use case.
After adding the inserts (markups) manually to a Description using the UX I tried exports, writes to the audit log, and reads from the REST API to learn the markup text. Most returned the same apparent markup...and...that markup used in a rule could not reproduce the same graphical results.
When copying one field with markup to another in a rule (i.e. Copy from...), the formatting is preserved. This seems to indicate there is other formatting metadata which is not available when an automation rule sets/gets a field's value from text.

We are looking to use the full range of inserts like, inserting a link or a tick box/ status box or info panel.
