Configuration card layout cannot add sub-types

Although I'm an administrator - configuration options are greyed out eg. swimlanes

Which administrator?

Can you share the screenshot?

Only members who are not the board administrator will see greyed out options when they try to access the board

If you are jira administrator or project administrator you should be able to edit the board
