How do I add a calendar to confluence without the Team Calendar macro?

Question

Hey guys,

Im trying to add a calendar in confluence without having to use the Team Calendar macro from Confluence which I believe you need a premium license for. If team calendar is the only way to get a calendar in confluence, is it possible to only upgrade a couple users to have premium to control the calendar or do all users have to have premium? Any insight would be helpful. Thank You.

Hi @Ikaia Bernardino

Welcome to Confluence!!

Here's the FAQ on Team Calendars in Premium Version

Confluence Premium comes with added features that your teams can use

Consider having premium

Hi @Ikaia Bernardino ,

in case you use Outlook calendars, you can add it to Confluence Standard.

This app could be very useful: Outlook Calendars for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace (it is free for up to 10 users).

Here you find a short demo:

https://youtu.be/Y285YW6VG5A

- Work with your Jira dates in Confluence

- Simple permission management for calendars

- Comfortably choose between different templates and view options

(Please note, I work for yasoon, so I am a fan of the app :-P)

I hope that could help.

Have a great day,

Britta

@Ikaia Bernardino , If you want to make your own calendar you could use the table macro and then manually add the days & dates. This is completely lo-fi but free.

Team Calendars is an all or none type of app. I believe all users would need to be upgraded in order to use the functionality.

If you wanted to go with a different third-party app, there are a number available:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&query=calendar

Some of these will be free for smaller teams.
