Bug - Searches are saving as Attachments

Question

Slightly odd bug - one of my users is reporting that when they search for a Jira item number in the Navigation bar search field, the search saves as an attachment.

Replication Steps:

* Open a Jira Task
* Input a new Jira number in the Navigation bar search field
* Select the new task in the search results to open it
* Click Back
* Observe a new attachment has been added to the initial task, an HTML page with the search data

Has anyone else experienced this issue? could this be resolved by clearing the user's cache?

There is nothing in Jira that could do this, the browser must be doing something really odd.  Clicking "back" effectively refreshes the navigator, it doesn't trigger "download the html of the page to your machine and upload it as an attachment on an issue".

Yes, I'd try clearing the cache, but I can't work out how the browser is triggering the attachment of the html its got on disk or in memory to an issue!
