Subquery in filter

Question

Hi,

i'm trying to create subquery in a jira filter, i'm using Jira cloud.

I want to get all the linked issues of some epics.

I want to epics to be a query, for example all the to get all the linked issues for the epics with fixed version = x.

how can i do it?

You cannot do that with out-of-the-box JQL, as it is not a SQL.

Your options to solve this dependent upon your frequency of need and cost/effort restrictions:

* need one time* export the relevant issues to a spreadsheet and perform the join there

* need often, cost is not a concern* investigate the marketplace for apps to enhance JQL features

* need often, cost is restricted, effort is not a concern* using the REST API, build an application to pull and join the data in an external reporting tool
