Issues from Slack workflow coming to backlog instead of board

Hello everyone,
I have created a simple Slack workflow that works when reaction is added to a message and it automatically creates Jira issue. Problem is when issue is created it's added to a backlog instead of Jira board. Is it possible to somehow change workflow path so it will go directly to board?

That is probably your jira issue-specific workflow determining that.  I have only dabbled in Slack Workflow builder, but as far as I know the tickets are still created using the regular jira workflows on the project.

You have a few options, including changing the default status a ticket starts in (changed in the workflow itself), and using Jira automation to move the ticket to the desired board (if you're using a sprint board, you would also need to have jira automation select the open sprint).
