changing which fields show by project and issue type

Hi,

I need to be able to show certain fields in some issue types and hide the same field in other issue types within the confines of a single project only. The change I am making cannot be global.

For example I want the user story field to show in the user story issue type within project 1. I do not want the user story field to show in the Epic issue type within project 1. But I do not want any changes I make to affect projects 2 or 3.

There's three ways you can show/hide fields

1. the context - check the list of custom fields and that story points is valid for your project and issue type.  This is probably the wrong way to do it for you, as it has some limitation

2. The screens used for Create, Edit, View and transition are a simple list of which fields to show during the action.  If you use different screens for different projects/issue-types, you can remove or include the fields differently

3. The field configuration for a project/issue-type can be used to hide a field as well
