Migrate history from server to cloud

Question

We have a cloud jira with all current issues. We used to be part of another server based jira and want to be able to read the history from that system. There are references to users in the old system that are not active anymore, and hence do not need an active user account in the cloud jira.
All issues in the server jira are closed, but we need to be able to search for specific issues to view comments and attachments.
What would be the best approach for this? Would it be possible to import everything (including attachments) into our cloud jira? Or would you recommend any other tool for viewing data exports from Jira?

PDF exports are provided by an app that needs to be installed to your Jira instnace, see the installation guide.

I don't see the option to export to PDF in the Export drop down. Where do I find that option?

It's not super-sophisticated, but at least easy to do:

* Export the issues from the old system to separate PDF documents with the original attachments embedded.
* Then put this to a document management system which makes PDFs searchable.
* Done.
