Is it possible to add an external webiste with thumbnail ?

Question

Hi,

I am looking to create a confluence page which showcases a beautiful career sites. But when I add external webpage links, it only shows up as link on the confluence page. I would like a thumbnail of the page as well show.

Plus, when the thumbnail image is clicked it should redirect to that webpage.

Since you're new to the community, @Shruti Thoonoli - here's also a little reminder that if you think the answer is helpful to your problem, you can click on the "Accept Answer" button on top of the answer you want to accept.

That helps other people looking for a solution to the same problem to quickly identify what was helpful to you - and maybe it's also useful to them. :)

Hi @Shruti Thoonoli

welcome to the Atlassian Community.

In order to do this, you can

* create a screenshot of the page you want to link to
* embed the screenshot (as a tiny version) into your Confluence page
* add a link to the image which points to your web page.

This is unfortunately a manual process, but you should be able to get the desired result.

Cheers,
Matthias
