Jira Service Management embed code for WordPress Page

Question

Hi Jira Service Management Experts,

I am a beginner in using this software because I am more of a WordPress web designer and not a programmer.

I would like to know if embedding a Jira Service Management widget can be embedded in a WordPress page to act as a form embedded on the WordPress page please?

As illustrated above, I wanted to replace the old Contact Form 7 (X mark) embedded on the WordPress page and replace it with the same features of the Jira Service Management widget as shown on the lower right corner of the screen (check mark).

I tried using the Jira Service Management widget embed code to the WordPress default embed code block editor but it is not compatible.

Hi @Joseph Ben Abarado and welcome to the community!

JSM Widget is a great feature to use on your website and fairly easy to install. I will assume that you have taken all necessary steps to "open" your portal to every customer, so that can send messages via the widget.

Now, once you have saved your widget, a javascript code will appear on the bottom. Copy it and paste it either on the head of your homepage, or on a dedicated JS field on your theme, like the following:

You can also try to include this script from appearance > widget > and insert a custom HTML on a specific place:

You could do it in another way.

Jira Service Management, accepts requests/tickets via email. So from your form, in WordPress, you could, send the information in JSM and create a ticket from it.
