Search for value in table on the same page

David O_Connor_qsgadj

I'm New to confluence and I can't seem to find an easy way to add a search/lookup box for users to look for data in a single table on the page.

There will be a table with dozens of rows containing error messages and their corresponding resolution steps. The idea is to allow users enter the error (or key values in the error) and be brought to the appropriate row in the table. This would all be happening on the same page.

I tried setting this up with LiveSearch however it doesn't appear to meet my needs.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi @David O_Connor ,

There is no filtering options out-of-the-box, so you'll need 3rd party apps to implement your case.

We can suggest trying our add-on - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. Its Table Filter macro allows you to filter your tables easily from the page view mode.

Besides filtering, you'll be able to implement other Excel functions, for example, pivot tables, calculations in tables, conditional formatting, etc. Our team will be happy to organize a live demo for you and your colleagues - please, book a suitable time slot here.
