Is it possible to authenticate to GET or POST information to JIRA using POSTMAN REST CLIENT as user id and password-based basic authentication is deprecated?
Log in with the more advanced (and hence more secure) methods now available?
You still set up Postman to connect to Jira using Basic Authentication. But you have to create an API Token.

On Postman, your email is your username and the API token is the password.
