Is there any apps that can calculate the predicted percent done and real percent done?

Hi,

Scenario description:

At beginning, project has the predicted/original time schedule.However, when team members start to execute the task, the time schedule might be changed or modified due to the real situation.Therefore, PM would like to know what the differences is between the real percent done and the predicted percent done.

For example, the original time schedule of this Story A is 10/1~10/30 .Current date is 10/15. Therefore, the predicted percent done is 50%.However, the real situation is that this story is delayed, and the status is in processing which percent done default is 25% .Therefore, the real percent done right now is 25%.

Question:

Is there any apps that can calculate the predicted percent done and real percent done?

First of all I think it depends what is your definition of percentage. Number of story points burnt? In that case native Jira Software reports like Burn Down Chart will show you where you are as compared to the baseline.

I also find Cumulative Flow diagram useful in identifying bottlenecks related to the issues being in a specific status for too long.
