How do I add a particular field value from multiple issues together?

Yes, I went through the post, it's not helping, I need to add cost of individual issues (custom numerical field) to a monthly cost and reflect it on a dashboard.

With our Jira cloud app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards you can sum up values from any number field (also custom number fields) using the statistic gadgets.
The screenshot below shows how you need to configure the gadget for your use case.
